Studio

The artist's studio appears to me as the most dynamic and exiting place in the world, is the space where accidental ideas take shape. In here a book can be transformed into a sculpture a sculpture into a drawing and a drawing into an undefined drop of ink. In the studio "time" is not dominated by a production structure but by an unknown desire of transformation and "space" gets sometimes reduced to a cm but sometimes gets as big as the whole universe.

My studio was a former industrial production line, before I took it over it was clean, organized and disciplined. This space was the place where 10 to 15 workers were building "Lisegang" slide projectors. Now the chaos took over every single corner, every single wall of it. I cultivate this chaos with passion and respect, every month I add more details to it (objects, books, drawings, pictures) and it's from these "added details" where I find "new relations" that I would like to share with you.
